As the COVID-19 Pandemic taper off, the KSMS will returning to full attendance at its meetings as restrictions have been lifted. Those of us a the KSMS wish you all to remain safe and free of the virus and join many others in Staying Home to "Flatten the Curve". If you wish to attend a meeting please register for the dinner and send funds to the KSMS President to secure your seat.
We will continue to be vigilant against the spread of COVID-19 so take all necessary precautions to ensure your and others safety by following the 5 basic steps to remain safe.
KSMS is now moving into our 25th year (the age of a fine single malt) and is one of the longest continuous running Whisky/Whiskey clubs in Canada.
Welcome to the official opening of the KSMS website to the Kingston and surrounding area. The Kingston Single Malt Society is a club specializing in the tasting of Single Malts from a wide variety of places. We gather a number of times per year usually on the third Monday of the month. Dinners in the months of December, July and August are reserved for special events with our tasting season starting in September. Dinners are usually held at the River Mill Restaurant, a fine local establishment where we dine on a Four/Five course meal coupled with a fine sampling of at least three single malt whiskies.
At each dinner we sample single malts from some of the regions of Scotland, Ireland or the world. The only condition is that they are single malts. With the whole world to choose from we often find that the best and most widely known Single Malts come from the Regions of Scotland. For each dinner a selection of Single Malts is made sometimes from each of the regions of Scotland. On occasion we choose a single malt from elsewhere in the world.

Due to increased whisky and food costs, unfortunately our fees also have to increase.

1.DINNER PRICE INCREASE: Cost: Members: $100; Non-Members: $110
2. MEMBERSHIP INCREASE:
Membership and Dinner prices Effective September, 2022 Dinner
a. Single Membership = Single Membership Due ($50) + September Dinner ($100) = $150
b. Couples Membership = Couples Membership Due ($75) + September Dinner (2 x $100 = $200) = $275
New members who join in September will have the one time initiation fee of $15 waived.
The Next dinner is the May 29th dinner at the River Mill Restaurant

COVID restrictions have been lifted and we can go back to Hosting fully seated dinners. Please ensure that you have prepaid for your dinners in order to ensure your seat.
